Akkarawin Krairiksh (b. 1985, Bangkok) is a photographer and documentary videographer whose practice centers on close observation of nature and everyday life within ecological systems. Through photography and moving images, he explores the quiet relationships between living beings and their environments, using documentation as a way to understand space, coexistence, and the interconnectedness of life.
In recent years, limitations on travel have led Krairiksh to turn inward, transforming his own garden into a site of continuous exploration. Patiently observing small and often overlooked moments — tiny spiders, flowers, shifting shadows of leaves cast upon walls — his work reveals a sensitivity toward details that frequently escape everyday attention. His process reflects an ongoing journey of exploring nature through careful presence, absorbing experiences and learning from the diverse ecosystems that surround him.
Krairiksh received a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Bangkok University and a Master of Fine Arts from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. His previous projects include Wind, Sunlight, The Memory Garden, part of OFF THE RADAR, We Rise (2026), a program that supports and sustains the position of contemporary artists working across diverse disciplines. Transforming, part of The Early Years Project #3: COEVAL (2018), a program supporting emerging artists and artistic networks. He has also participated in several group exhibitions, including The Mystery Shack 999 as part of the Bangkok Biennial at Jam Cafe (2018), Thai Seascape with CameraEyes at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and CMCC (2016), and Thai Landscape with CameraEyes at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and CMCC (2015). He currently works as an artist and archive photographer.
